THE CHALLENGE
The U.S. Soccer Digital Coaching Center represents a milestone in the digitization and standardization of coach training in the USA. From 2015, the platform will be the central point of contact for coaches at all levels of education and will make it easier for them to carry out numerous administrative and operational activities.
WHAT WE DID
- Learning and teaching platform as a single page application
- Usability and user experience design
- Design and development of a graphical tactics editor
The official soccer association of the USA, the United States Soccer Federation (“U.S. Soccer”), is significantly involved in training soccer coaches in the USA, among other things.
Digitalization of soccer coach training
To date, this coach training has primarily taken place offline. With the new U.S. Soccer Digital Coaching Center (DCC) A modern online training platform was created.
The DCC offers optimal online services for a wide range of training levels:
- Creating and maintaining coach profiles
- Registration for license courses
- Online courses and e-learning
- Development of training plans with the support of a graphical tool
